Sometimes, reality is just as strange as fiction.
Andrea Clemons prefers to keep her feet firmly planted in reality. She'll leave the daydreaming to her friend Lauren, an aspiring fantasy author. But when mysterious circumstances leave Andrea stranded inside the pages of her best friend’s fictional world, they’ll both have to rethink the difference between fiction and reality.
Between accidentally stumbling into super villain battles, attempting to befriend angsty protagonists, and learning the weird laws of an alternate universe, getting home is the least of Andrea's worries. In order to survive—and maybe maintain some of her sanity—she'll have to rely on her wits, her ability to suspend disbelief, and the hope that maybe—just maybe—Lauren can still find her across dimensions.
Full of friendship, adventure, and a lot of heart, SPIRALBOUND is a love letter to teen writers—and the friends who make writing worthwhile.

'Twas the Hour:
A Christmas Time-Loop Novella
Want to spend Christmas in the Twilight Zone?
Lydia would be perfectly happy if Christmas never came. All she wants is to sleep in after a twelve-hour Christmas Eve shift and let the day pass her by. But when her head hits the pillow and the clock strikes midnight, Lydia suddenly finds herself back in the doorway of her apartment. It is 11:00 PM on Christmas Eve, and Lydia finds herself reliving the last hour before Christmas again…and again…and again.
What first seems like a dream quickly becomes a nightmare, and a nightmare becomes a curse, and a curse becomes a mystery to solve. But slowly, with the help of her roommate and the enigmatic old lady next door, Lydia begins to see the time loop as a gift. Even as the hours wear on and it seems as though morning will never come, Lydia might finally find the courage to face tomorrow.
First written for the Charles Dickens Challenge, 'Twas the Hour isn't your typical Christmas story. With a sci-fi twist and a mysterious atmosphere that feels more like the Twilight Zone than a Hallmark movie, this isn't necessarily a happy story, but a hopeful one. In this season full of uncertainty, I invite you to bring your worries and step into the mist. For it is in the dark that the Light of Christmas shines the brightest.
